Android 5.0 Pode Ser Lançado Ainda em 2012

Ao ser perguntado sobre a versão 5.0 do sistema operacional Android, Hiroshi Lockheimer (vice-presidente da engenharia para dispositivos móveis do Google) falou que o plano do Google é lançar uma versão principal por ano (ou seja 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, etc.), com updates menores depois disso (ou seja, 2.1, 2.2, etc.).

Uma coisa é certa, Google não deve estar com pressa de lançar a versão 5.0, uma vez que Ice Cream Sandwich, ou ICS como é chamada, foi bem recebida tanto pelos fabricantes quanto pelos usuários.
