Halo: 4

Mais de 200 profissionais estão trabalhando na produção de Halo 4. Esse será o sexto episódio anual consecutivo da série e chegará em 2012 para o Xbox 360. O desafio do game será manter a qualidade da franquia mesmo com a saída da produtora queridinha dos fãs, a Bungie – que assinou um contrato de dez anos com a Activision e deixou Halo nas mãos da Microsoft.

Para tal desafio, a empresa de Bill Gates montou um novo estúdio, o 343 Industries. Com o objetivo de dar continuidade a série e produzir bonecos, quadrinhos e demais produtos relacionados (sem gastar os montantes exuberantes que a Bungie estava acostumada), a 343 lançará Halo 4, que será o primeiro de uma nova trilogia, chamada “The Reclaimer”, uma forma de demonstrar o comprometimento da produtora com a franquia, segundo Frank O’Connor, diretor da franquia na 343 Industries e criador do protagonista Master Chief. Ao ser perguntado sobre a versão 5.0 do sistema operacional Android, Hiroshi Lockheimer (vice-presidente da engenharia para dispositivos móveis do Google) falou que o plano do Google é lançar uma versão principal por ano (ou seja 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, etc.), com updates menores depois disso (ou seja, 2.1, 2.2, etc.).

• 1.5 Cupcake – lançado em Abril de 2009
• 1.6 Donut – lançado em Setembro de 2009
• 2.0 Eclair – lançado em Outubro de 2009
• 2.2 Froyo – lançado em Maio de 2010
• 2.3 Gingerbread – lançado em Dezembro de 2010
• 3.0 Honeycomb - lançado em Fevereiro de 2011
• 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich – lançado em Outubro de 2011

Uma coisa é certa, Google não deve estar com pressa de lançar a versão 5.0, uma vez que Ice Cream Sandwich, ou ICS como é chamada, foi bem recebida tanto pelos fabricantes quanto pelos usuários.
